More regular routes with Transavia

Lyon-Stockholm, Paris Orly-Ljubljana and Paris Orly-Glasgow are just some of the routes that the low-cost carrier Transavia plans to serve in the coming months.

Departing from Paris-Orly, Transavia is already setting the tone for this summer. From 27 March 2022Air France's low-cost subsidiary will be adding several new routes to its network from its main French base.

For the moment, these are lines to Bilbao, La Palma, the Azores (Ponta Delgada), Yerevan, Glasgow, Ljubljana, Podgorica and Skiathos (in Greece). Departing from LyonThe airline is also announcing a weekly flight from 29 January to the end of April to the French capital. Stockholm Arlanda.

This ramp-up will be accompanied by the integration of new aircraft. The fleet will consist of 50 aircraft this winter, 11 more Boeing 737-800s to join the Transavia fleet next spring.

There is also talk in the Dutch press of the possibility of a Transavia Netherlands in Belgium on the airport of Brussels Zaventem. Consideration is still being given to a base in the Belgian capital. If this becomes a reality, Transavia would base two aircraft there.
