IHG: an InterContinental in Barcelona, a Holiday Inn Express in Rome Fiumicino

The British group IHG has just officially opened the doors of a luxury InterContinental hotel in Barcelona. Looking further ahead, its budget brand Holiday Inn Express is due to open at Rome Fiumicino airport.

Its opening was announced by IHG in spring and now it's here: the InterContinental brand has just made its debut in Barcelona by completing the transformation of a former Crowne Plaza into a luxury hotel. Located on Montjuïc hillThe hotel offers 273 elegantly decorated and sophisticated rooms, including 17 junior suites and a 180 m² presidential suite, all with views over the Catalan city.
