Paris CDG-Los Angeles is one of France's flagship North Atlantic routes. This winter, up to three daily flights will be offered to business travellers.. Air France-KLM in cooperation with Delta Air Lines serves this route twice a day with a Boeing 777 in the French airline's livery.
Return of Air Tahiti Nui
With the lifting of travel restrictions, we also find Air Tahiti Nui. The company had suspended flight Paris-Papeete via Los Angeles. The suspension is linked to the ban on foreign travellers entering the United States. The Polynesian carrier had instead operated the Paris-Tahiti route via Vancouver..
" We're happy to be back in Los Angeles because that's where the market is. Not only between Paris and Los Angeles, but also between California and Tahiti. Vancouver is certainly a beautiful airport, but its economic catchment area is a long, long way from that of Los Angeles.describes Jean-Marc Hastings, Regional Director France and Europe, Air Tahiti Nui.

Outbound flights resumed on 16 November while the first return flight will take off from Tahiti for Los Angeles and Paris on the 18th. The airline will offer 3 to 7 weekly flights on this route with its Boeing 787..
French Bee arrives in April
The competition will intensify further from 9 April with the announcement by French Bee of its arrival on this strategic route. The carrier will offer four weekly non-stop flights from Paris Orly and Los Angeles International Airport. Flights will be operated by brand new Airbus A350s.
French Bee aims to make its mark with very attractive introductory prices. A single ticket will be marketed at 279 euros as the introductory price in its traditional economy class, while the introductory price in its Premium class will start at 631 euros. These prices should certainly reignite the fare war between Paris and Los Angeles.
French Bee will also be offering connections to other cities in the United States thanks to a Interline agreement with Alaska Airlines.
French Bee's positioning in Los Angeles is in line with its North Atlantic development strategy. " Following our successful launch in New York and the takeover of San Francisco on 10 November, we are delighted to be launching our third American route from Paris-Orly, and to be continuing our expansion in the United States." comments Marc Rochet, Chairman of French Bee.
