After months of closure, the Morocco is once again available to business travellers from 7 February. The reopening has been eagerly awaited, particularly by the French market, which should see demand for the Franco-Moroccan route soar. Transavia intends to adjust its sails accordingly. The company is even increasing its offer by 40% compared with 2019. This summer, nearly 600,000 seats will be available on this route, out of a total of 20. Morocco will then be the Transavia's second largest market.

Five French airports are involved in this relaunch: Paris-Orly, Nantes-Atlantique, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry, Montpellier-Méditerranée and Bastia. Transavia will fly to a total of ten Moroccan destinations: Agadir, Marrakech, Essaouira, Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Tangiers, Nador, Oujda and Ouarzazate.
The regulatory context has even prompted the airline to review its timetable and bring forward some route reopenings. This is notably the case for the Lyon-Casablanca flight, which was due to return on 1 May, but which is finally resuming service from 12 February.
