Yotel steps up its development
Before the opening, scheduled for the end of the year, the brand will have seen several other openings in 2022In Miami, for example, two establishments are due to open in the spring in the Downtown area, with a classic Yotel and the long-stay YotelPad on top of each other. This same combination of short and long stay is also being prepared in Dubai, with a double establishment due to open shortly, as well as in Atlanta and Long Island City, the latter two establishments being planned for 2024. A year which will also see the brand set up in Melbourne and Brussels, with a YotelPad.
Well-established in the hotel industry, the brand now intends to accelerating growth through franchising and the conversion of existing hotels. This model has already enabled Yotel to establish itself in Porto and Park City, as well as in Manchester last year, on the corner of Deansgate and John Dalton Street. The latter project saw the takeover of the former Qbic Hotel, a chain positioned like Yotel for cabin-style rooms. This made the transformation easier.
After Manchester, Yotel is going to use the franchise to offer from April a second address in LondonIn addition to the one already opened in the City, in the Clerkenwell district. This time, Yotel will be moving into the fashionable Shoreditch area. Located just a stone's throw from Bethnal Green tube station, the hotel will offer 161 rooms, including double and connecting rooms, as well as a bar, restaurant and coworking space. There is no doubt that the many creative start-ups and entrepreneurs in the area will quickly move in.
