Six new Transavia destinations from Paris Orly

Bilbao and Ljubljana on 15 April, Cephalonia, Skiatos, Yerevan and Podgorica on 23 April, Transavia is continuing to expand at Paris-Orly, in addition to strengthening its services between France and Algeria.

Transavia inaugurated its new routes at Orly on Saturday 23 April. Skiathos, Kefalonia in Greece and Podgorica in Macedonia followed the next day by its first flight to Yerevanthe capital of Armenia. Ten days earlier, the carrier had also inaugurated its first flights to Bilbao and Ljubljana. These six destinations strengthen the presence of the Air France group's low-cost subsidiary which is continuing to develop its summer offer.

Across all these destinations, the carrier offers two weekly frequencies except to Yerevan. Transavia offers a weekly rotation to the Armenian capital every Saturday.

More flights on France-Algérie

In addition, following the decision by the Algerian authorities, Transavia has increased its services between France and Algeria. The company is authorised to serve seven overhead lines. Transavia serves Algiers 10 times a week from Orly and Oran five times a week. The carrier also offers two flights a week to Orly-Constantine. From Lyon, the airline offers two flights a week to Algiers and a new weekly flight to Lyon-Oran. On Montpellier-Alger, Transavia offers two weekly flights and on Nantes-Alger one weekly flight.

And finally.., Transavia has launched a new international base in Brussels. From 30 June, Transavia's Dutch subsidiary will be stationing a Boeing 737-800 at the Belgian hub. On this date, it will inaugurate 16 flights a week to Alicante, Ibiza, Faro and Heraklion. A second aircraft is due to join the Brussels base in the autumn.
