Already present in Dubai, on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah, the lifestyle brand W is moving closer to the emirate's Dowtown by setting up in the heart of the Dubai Marina. Located on Jumeirah Beach, the 31-storey hotel is distinguished by its glass architecture and, in keeping with the spirit of the brand, its contemporary design inspired by Middle Eastern culture.
In keeping with the W Hotels concept, the new Dubai establishment offers travellers a wide range of lively venues with a lounge-style lobby, a rooftop bar-restaurant with live music and DJsAttiko, due to open in June. Another option is the Ginger Moon urban club on the second floor, with an indoor-outdoor space that opens onto a terrace leading to an infinity pool with panoramic views over Mina Seyahi Bay. What's more, in addition to the existing spa and fitness centre, by 2023 the hotel will havea beach club with a 50-metre swimming pool and a private beach.
As for the bedrooms, there are 318 rooms, including 27 suitesThese include the Extreme WOW Presidential Suite, perched on the 30th floor and featuring two bedrooms, a lounge and a dining room, as well as a balcony offering breathtaking views of the city. The W Dubai - Mina Seyahi also features a dedicated meeting and event space consisting of three Studios with outdoor terraces, which can accommodate up to 120 people.
