Aer Lingus lands again in Seattle

Irish carrier Aer Lingus is back on the Dublin-Seattle route after a two-year suspension. Five weekly flights are offered with connections to the rest of Europe.

The Irish airline is expanding its American services this summer with the return of Seattle in its network. The carrier has just relaunched its Dublin route to the metropolis in the north-west of the United States..

The link was suspended in March 2020. The aircraft in service is an Airbus A330 equipped with a business and economy class.. The five weekly flights connect with Aer Lingus' European network.

The return of the line on Seattle is part of the Irish airline's growing presence in the United States. Aer Lingus offers 14 routes in the United States to eight American cities. The airline also flies daily to Toronto in Canada.

In April, Aer Lingus resumed its service on Philadelphia with a daily flight from Dublin. This was followed in May by a daily service to Los Angeles. Finally, last June Aer Lingus doubled its daily service on Dublin-Washington DC. This is the first time the airline has offered two daily flights to the US capital. It has also increased to 12 the number of weekly frequencies to Dublin-Chicago. Aer Lingus plans the resumption of services to Miami in October next.
