The company to inaugurate the Rome Fiumicino-San Francisco route on 1 July. The route will initially operate three times weekly. It will be increased to five weekly frequencies from 2 August until the end of the summer season in October.
ITA Airways will inaugurate the route on 5 June Rome Fiumicino-Washington Dulles with 5 weekly frequencies. The flight will be increased to a daily frequency from 1 August until 28 October 2023.
ITA flights to San Francisco will be operated using an Airbus A350, while flights to Washington will be operated using an Airbus A330.. The two destinations are in addition to the services this winter to Boston, Los Angeles, New York and Miami in the United States. Outside the United States, the Italian carrier flies to Buenos Aires, Male, New Delhi, Sao Paulo and Tokyo.
