Budget chain B&B Hotels ended 2022 with the inauguration of a number of new establishments, notably in Bourg-en-Bresse, but also in Toulon with an 82-room hotel in a convenient location for business travellers. Featuring B&B's urban concept backed by contemporary furnishings and sleek graphic codes, this new hotel is part of an emerging district. in the vicinity of the TGV stationMontéty.
The result of the transformation of a former workers' housing estate into a a new centre of attractionThe Hüb, an area next to Toulon's Zenith, is due to be home to the Institut de Formation des Professions de Santé and has already seen the opening of a place dedicated to coworking and coliving. Also in Grenoble, this concept from Privilodges, a specialist in student, leisure and business residences, includes long-stay rooms and flats, workspaces, a restaurant and an attractive terrace for socialising.
More broadly, the B&B Toulon Centre Gare is one of the key elements of a development by developer Edouard Denis, a Nexity subsidiary, which will include offices in particular as part of the refurbishment of the Lamer barracks, all linked to the centre of Toulon by an "Arts Bridge".
After Toulon station, B&B Hotels will soon be offering a new base for business travellers near Geneva airport. The Group's future second-largest hotel after Disneyland Paris, with 288 rooms, is located in Vernier, close to Palexpo, and will offer guests a bar and snack bar, as well as a 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport.
Expected to open in early March, this hotel will help to strengthen the brand's international presence, with B&B also set to add a new address in Lausanne, Switzerland, and two new destinations in Belgium: Mechelen and Namur, in 2023. As for France, where B&B Hotels already has more than 370 hotels, a dozen openings are already planned: St Maur Créteil, Cergy Centre and Rocquencourt in the Paris region, St Quentin Fallavier and Grésy-sur-Aix (Aix les Bains) in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Le Creusot Montchanin and Dijon Valmy Toison d'Or in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Landerneau in Brittany, Saintes and Sélestat in the Grand Est region, Saint-André-de-Cubzac and St Geours de Maremne in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and the B&B Nice Mercantour in the PACA region.
