The hotel's location will be as prestigious as ever, in the Xinyi district and directly opposite the Taipei 101At 508 metres, it was the tallest tower in the world when it was inaugurated in 2004.
Although the skyscraper has since relinquished this status to Dubai's Burj Khalifa tower, it is nonetheless one of the city's main tourist attractions, with its upmarket boutiques, art galleries and offices, including those of major banks and the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation. This makes it an ideal location for business trips to the Taiwanese capital.
From the top of the observatory in Tower 101, passing travellers will be able to contemplate the construction of a 180-metre, 31-storey building dedicated to luxury hotels, due for completion in the next few years. This new tower, built by the Yuan Lih group and designed by the RSHP architectural firm, is in line with environmental standards, aiming for Taiwan Green Building Gold level and LEED Silver level certifications as a minimum.
When it opens, the Four Seasons Taipei will offer approximately 260 rooms The rooms on the upper floors will offer panoramic views of the city and the mountain ranges in the distance. Alongside this, the gastronomic offering will feature a plethora of dining venues, including an upmarket Chinese table and a signature bar. The hotel will also feature a fitness centre with an outdoor swimming pool and a spa.
As for its business offer, with an executive club lounge and, above all, a business lounge, from vast areas for corporate meetings and gatherings. The hotel will feature two event spaces, a grand ballroom and a junior ballroom, both with floor-to-ceiling glass.
