On the latter route, Lyria will offer a train every hour at peak times and a departure every two hours in the middle of the day. On the other hand, you will still have to wait, at best until summer 2010, to make the Paris-Geneva journey in 3 hours 05 minutes (compared with 3 hours 22 minutes at present). Here too, the introduction of a timetabled service is planned, with an increase from seven to ten daily frequencies. Finally, two additional services are planned next year between Paris-Basel and Zurich to prepare for the opening in 2011 of the TGV Rhin-Rhône line, which will reduce the journey time to four hours. That's a saving of 30 minutes.
