Pursuing its fleet and network expansion strategy, Oman Air has unveiled its summer programme for 2023. This programme includes significant frequency increases on existing routes and the addition of four new destinationsall located on the Indian subcontinent.
The new frequencies and destinations represent a 60 % increase in the number of flights from the airline's hub in Muscat compared with 2022.
The 4 new connections will be to Chittagong (Bangladesh), Malé (Maldives), Lucknow and Thiruvananthapuram (India). The Indian sub-continent remains a priority for Oman Air. The airline is adding additional frequencies to Chennai (Madras), Cochin, Hyderabad, Khozikode and Mumbai. Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, will also benefit from more flights.
Elsewhere in Asia, the company strengthens its presence in Kuala Lumpur and Phuket. Finally on Europe, Oman Air to increase weekly flights between Paris and Muscat to six times a week offering improved connectivity. This sixth frequency will start at the end of March.
