The 2023-2024 financial year will therefore see the opening of seven new destinations around the world. France is one of the markets best served by the rise of Qatar Airways. It is therefore taking full advantage of the open skies agreement between the European Union and Qatar.
Lyon will be served from 3 July, Toulouse is still waiting for an opening date to be announced. As for NiceQatar Airways is expected to resume this route before the summer season.
Frequency increases are also planned in Europe on Berlin, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Edinburgh, London Heathrow, Milan, Vienna and Zurich.
More flights to Asia
In Asia, the carrier has been landing at Medan in Indonesia since the beginning of the year and will be launching at Chittagong in 2024.. The company is also gaining momentum on the continent with the takeover of Beijing, Davao, Tokyo Haneda, Phnom Penh and Ras al Khaimah by the end of the year.
At the beginning of April, it will also resume flights to Osaka. Increased frequencies are planned to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Manila and Phuket.
