Strike on 9 March: improvements in sight at RATP

RATP expects to see a further improvement in traffic conditions on the Paris metro on 9 March, the third consecutive day of strike action.

With a third consecutive day of strikethe 9 MarchThe outlook for metro users is positive. The RATP plans " traffic still improving compared to 8 March ". On Thursday, traffic will be disrupted on the metro, " almost normal "on the RER A and very upset "on the RER B. Buses and trams are expected to run normally.

All metro lines will be operational on 9 March, with varying frequencies. In addition, some stations will be closed, warns RATP, without giving any further details for the moment. Detailed forecast:

With regard to RERthe line A will operate at three quarters (3 out of 4 trains on average). Visit RER B will run at a rate of 1 train in 2 during peak hours, compared with 2 trains in 3 during off-peak hours. The interconnection at Gare du Nord remains interrupted. For business travellers: theOrlyval should be operating normally on 9 March.

Finally, bus and tram travel should not be affected on Thursday. RATP expects normal traffic levels on all these surface networks.
