The design is pure and simple, the décor is inspired by a totem animal - in this case a zebra - and the façade is recognisably blue, pink or purple, depending on where you look: the Kopster Paris Ouest Colombes hears... show off your lifestyle spirit and its range of services for business travellers in the west of Paris.

Easily accessible by train from Gare Saint-Lazare and close to the A86 motorway, this new hotel opened at the beginning of March in an up-and-coming district. To cater for travellers passing through the Paris region for a few days or several weeks, like all the teleworkers who divide their time between the provinces and Paris, it focuses above all on a combination of hotel and residence. The hotel offers 134 hotel rooms on one side - between 23 m2 and 38 m² - and 117 flats of 22 m2 for studios and 45 m2 for two-bedroom apartments with lounge and sofa bed, all at competitive rates for a top-of-the-range hotel.

Kospter. This brand with its strong business positioning was mainly known only to customers in Lyon. And with good reason, since this chain, launched in 2018 by the Lavorel group, until recently only hada single link at Décines, within OL Valléethe home of Olympique Lyonnais. Hence the name, which evokes the 'kops' of supporters. But with the opening of the first hotel in Colombes, followed by another near Porte de Versailles in the autumn, brand recognition should rapidly increase. with corporate customers in the Paris region. This is particularly true for companies with offices nearby, such as Alcatel-Lucent and Safran, and more broadly for all the companies based in the west of Paris, whether in Asnières, Nanterre or La Défense.

Only just inaugurated, the hotel has already received " numerous requests until after the summer to organise meetings there" explains Barbara Tixier of the Lavorel Group. The Kopster Paris Ouest Colombes is dedicated to hosting seminars with almost 700 m2 divided into three sub-commission rooms on the mezzanine - each 30 m2 each - and above all, a vast space on the ground floor that can accommodate up to 190 people. The large, light-filled gallery, with its 5 m high ceilings, is the perfect place to welcome participants, take breaks or enjoy refreshments, and is extended by a large modular room with a 235 m2divisible into three.

However, the hotel's appeal is not limited to its seminar facilities and its accommodation, which is half traditional and half residential. On the eighth and top floor, its 90-seat restaurant and bar are further seductive features to attract neighbouring customers, during the week or at weekends, for lunch or after a day's work. Lounge area with fireplace and Chesterfield sofa, 40-seat terrace extending from the bar and restaurant: the hotel's rooftop lends its setting to moments of relaxation with uninterrupted views of La Défense and Paris in the distance.

With Kopster, the Lavorel group, known for its top-of-the-range leisure hotels such as the Château de Bagnols in the Beaujolais region and the Chabichou in Courchevel, now has expand its footprint in the business segment. With the takeover and renovation of a Médian hotel in Paris, the brand has already found a new base a stone's throw from the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre. When it opens on 4 September, the hotel will offer 127 rooms.

We are pursuing two strategies in parallel, with our collection of five-star hotels on the one hand and our business hotels on the other.explains Jean-Claude Lavorel, founder and chairman of the hotel group. In Décines, our customers were asking us if we had any others in France. This gave us the idea of developing this brand with a real concepta distinctive decorating style" . What next? " We are taking a close look at certain projects, not just in large cities, but also in medium-sized towns where there is a shortage." says Jean-Claude Lavorel. Without putting any pressure on himself.
