Qatar Airways sets opening dates for Lyon, Nice and Toulouse

Qatar Airways has announced the inauguration dates and frequencies of its new French routes to Lyon and Toulouse. As well as the date of its return to Nice, the first to return to the carrier's timetable at the beginning of May.

Qatar Airways announced last month at the ITB Berlin that it would be opening a seven new linesincluding 3 in France.
Nice-Doha will be the first line to return to the network. It will resume 9 May next with four weekly flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flights depart Nice-Côte d'Azur at 16:00 and arrive in Doha at 22:45 on the outbound leg. Flights leave Doha at 8.30am and arrive in Nice at 1.20pm on the return journey (local time).
The inauguration of Lyon-Doha will take place on 3 July. Or four flights a week, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Departure from Saint-Exupéry airport is scheduled for 4.35pm for arrival in Doha at 11.35pm for the outbound flight, and departure from Doha at 8.25am for arrival in Lyon at 2.10pm for the return flight (local time).
Finally, the airline will be launching its latest French destination, Toulouse, 18 July next. An Airbus A330-200 will operate the new flight lon Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with a departure from Toulouse-Blagnac at 16:00 for an arrival in Doha at 23:30 (local time) on the outbound leg, and a departure from Doha at 08:45 for an arrival in Toulouse at 14:40 on the return leg.
Passengers departing from the three cities will benefit from connections to over 160 destinations at Hamad International Airport. "The opening of this route represents the first connection to the Middle East at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport. We hope that this new offer will appeal to travellers from the region and we would like to thank the airport for its partnership", underlined Eric Odone, VP Sales Europe at Qatar Airways.
