The Radisson Group is expanding the portfolio of its Radisson Individuals collection of independent hotels, particularly in France. After welcoming a new member near the capital, the YAC Paris Clichythe brand is heading for Normandy with a boutique hotel in HonfleurLes Maisons de Léa. Situated in the heart of the town, on Place Sainte Catherine and just a stone's throw from the old port, the establishment reflects the charm of the Norman city so popular with the Impressionists. Its main building revisits an old salt granary dating from the 16th century.e century, the hotel brought together three other adjacent houses to create a sophisticated complex of 43 rooms and suites.
Les Maisons de Léa offers a relaxing setting with a spa and a bistro, Le Tourbillon, where you can sample local produce such as lobster, oysters from Blainville-sur-Mer or marinated Normandy prime rib. But the hotel also caters for corporate events in its "Maison du Jardin", a former nursery school that now houses the meeting and events space. A place reminiscent of the classroom atmosphere of yesteryear through its library or teacher's room. Yet the technology on offer is state-of-the-art. For playing hooky between meetings, the house also has a hanging garden and a terrace.
In a more business-like vein, Radisson Individuals has also set up shop non from Munich airport, in Hallbergmoos, not far from another hotel in the group, the prizeotel Munich Airport. Just ten minutes by shuttle bus from the Bavarian hub, the hotel makes the most of this proximity, starting with its name, the Flightgate Munich Airport Hotel.
Radisson Individuals is thus completing its offer in Germany just a few weeks after welcoming a major seminar hotel, the Hotel Berlin, Berlin. Although the new Munich hotel has fewer meeting facilities, with two meeting rooms for 12 and 32 people, it offers 212 rooms for visiting business travellers. There is also a bar-restaurant with a terrace in fine weather, and a coworking space in a cosy lobby.
