The summer of 2023 should enable Marseille to consolidate its position as France's second-largest regional airport this year, just behind Nice. It's shaping up to be a promising summer with a dozen new air routes in Europe. Volotea is the airline offering the greatest number of new services. Ryanair serves Bristol until the end of September with two flights a week (Wednesday and Saturday), Glasgow-Prestwick (Wednesday and Sunday) and Treviso/Venice (5 flights a week).
Easyjet relaunching the Marseille-Basel/Mulhouse service every Monday and Friday. This route had not been served for several years. Easyjet is also positioning itself on Lisbon (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
Traditional companies, Austrian Airlines arrives in the capital of Provence. The Austrian airline is offering three weekly flights to Vienna (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). For its part, Air Serbia offers two flights every Tuesday and Saturday to Belgrade.
It should be noted that the city of Marseille is also expanding its offer in the Middle East. Saudi low-cost Flynas serves Jeddah three times a week. While theAir Arabia Egypt also offers two weekly frequencies to Cairo.
