The new flight linking Fort-de-France à Toronto will start on 16 December. Air Canada will operate one flight a week between the two airports, every Saturday. Departure is at 3.25pm from Martinique and 8.15am from Canada's economic capital. The airline plans to operate this route in Boeing 737 Max 8. With a total capacity of 169 passengersThese will be configured in two cabins, Economique and Économique Privilège. The route is due to end on 30 March 2024.

Customers from Martinique will benefit from greater travel choice and direct access to our Toronto hub and beyond. Our new flight also expands our portfolio of premium Caribbean leisure destinations from Toronto, while developing and strengthening our strategic relationships with key tourism partners. ".
In addition to point-to-point flights, Air Canada intends to offer Martinique travellers the many destinations available via its hub. The airline promises that "all flights are scheduled to optimise connections with Air Canada's vast North American network, which includes 46 airports in the United States".
