Transavia to link Lyon and Marseille to Dubai

Transavia is preparing to make its debut in Dubai. Air France's low-cost carrier will be flying to the emirate from Lyon and Marseille airports.

At the end of October, Transavia will be connecting Lyon and Marseille to Dubai three times a week.

Transavia is about to enter a new phase in its international development. The subsidiary ofAir France has just made official its forthcoming arrival in Dubai. And it is business travellers from the (large) South-East quarter who will benefit from this new destination. Transavia plans to connect Dubai since Lyon from 29th October next. Two days later, it was from the airport of Marseille that the emirate will be served.

Marseille and Lyon will benefit from three weekly rotations. The Lyon - Dubai flight will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with return flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Outbound flights will leave Marseille on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with return flights on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing for Transavia France said: " In fact, we will be the only airline operating flights to Dubai from Marseille this winter. Finally, for our Lyon-based customers, Dubai has never been so accessible, thanks to our high-quality low-cost offer. ". Marketing of these two new lines was launched on 20 June in the morning.
