The integration of Iberia extends the partnership between IAG and Qatar Airways

Iberia officially joins the joint business partnership between British Airways and Qatar Airways. This integration will offer passengers even more connecting opportunities and flight choices.

Qatar Airways, British Airways and Iberia have decided to combine forces. This July, the Spanish company has entered into the existing Joint Business Agreement between Qatar Airways and British Airways. Together, the two companies were already offering a partnership covering more than 60 countries. As Sean Doyle, CEO of British Airways, " the commercial partnership with Qatar Airways was extended last year, with the addition of 42 countries. An "air bridge" between Madrid and Doha

First concrete application: the launch of a daily Iberia Madrid-Doha flight from 11 December 2023. Iberia will operate the Airbus A330-200, with 288 seats in the Business and Economy cabins.

Together, Qatar Airways and Iberia will offer 3 daily flights between the two capitals. This means even better connectivity between Madrid, the Middle East and Asia/Pacific. In the other direction, travellers from Asia and Africa will find a wide choice of flights to the Iberian Peninsula and the Middle East.Latin America.
