Stronger partnership between Turkish Airlines and Thai Airways International

Turkish Airlines and Thai Airways International signed a memorandum of understanding in Istanbul at the beginning of August with a view to setting up a joint venture. between the two airlines. This is an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two national carriers.

The Thai airline will be introducing a daily service to Istanbul from its Bangkok hub in December. This will strengthen the service between the two cities, increasing it to three daily frequencies. These flights will be operated on a codeshare basis. Turkish Airlines also serves Phuket from Istanbul.
