Indigo: a first business address in Melbourne

The IHG Group has just announced the opening of a third Indigo address on the Australian market: Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Flinders.

As August draws to a close, the Australian hotel scene is confirming its dynamism. Alongside thethe arrival of the Moxy brand in Sydneyanother lifestyle brand making its debut at Melbourne. The hotel Indigo Melbourne on Flinders has just been inaugurated on the eponymous thoroughfare. 216 bedrooms awaits business travellers, with a tribute to photography and in particular to Helmut Newton. It was here, not far from the new IHG Group address, that the emblematic photographer set up his studio in the mid-1940s.Newton's work has been a muse for the hotel's design and guests will see fashion, art and the runway combined with interiors that pay homage to the photographic art form, starting with a dramatic lobby gallery and lounge filled with collected pieces and a specially designed selfie booth for guests to capture their own Newton-esque memory."promise the school's management.

The Indigo Melbourne on Flinders will have to wait a little longer to realise its full potential. Business customers will have to wait until the beginning of 2024 to have access to the meetings & events of the establishment. The project is based on a capacity for 200 people. The fitness centre is due to open in October.
