18 destinations, many with daily flights. That's what we're offering this winter Brussels Airlines on its Sub-Saharan Africa network from Brussels. The Belgian national carrier is bringing a tenth Airbus A330 back into service for the 2024 summer season. This will enable it to return to its long-haul fleet from before Covid. The aircraft is intended to strengthen the carrier's African network.
This will give travellers even more options for flying between Europe and Africa. The main new feature will be the return of Brussels Airlines to Kenya after a 9-year suspension. Nairobi will be served from June 2024.. The Belgian carrier will operate six flights a week in summer and four flights a week in winter. Tickets for the new route are already on sale on the airline's website.
The entry into service of the tenth Airbus A330 will also enable the airline to expand its African network. As a result, Kigali in Rwanda to become a daily service in summer 2024. For the winter 2024 season, Brussels Airlines to increase frequencies to Dakar, Banjul/Conakri and Monrovia/Freetown. These three routes from Brussels will benefit from an additional weekly frequency.

African lines represent more than 80 %s on the Brussels Airlines long-haul network and on average a third of its sales.
