Munich: a new Marriott focused on meetings and events

With almost 400 rooms and 20 meeting rooms, including a huge ballroom, Munich City West aims to establish itself as one of the leading business hotels in the Bavarian capital.

While Munich awaits the opening of a Rosewood luxury hotel At the end of the month, the Bavarian capital will also be welcoming a new business hotel. And not the least: the Munich Marriott City Westa 398-bedroom jumbo jet enhanced witha huge MICE area of almost 2,500 m².. Spread over two entire floors, its 20 meeting and event rooms - some with open kitchens - are equipped with the latest technology, including video broadcasting in three of its studios.

The hotel's key features include its ballroom, one of the largest in Munich with its 916 m². With its own entrance, this ballroom bathed in natural light is equipped with four rotating screens and a 6 x 4 metre hydraulic stage that can be adapted to all types of event by being subdivided into four sections. Another of the hotel's strong selling points for organisers is its roof terrace with panoramic views over the city and the Bavarian Alps, where up to 400 guests can gather.

Located in the lively Westend district, not far from the Theresienwiese esplanade, where the Oktoberfest is held, and the Hackerbrücke, the bridge linking the main railway station to the western part of the city, the Munich Marriott City West also offers business travellers a contemporary atmosphere designed by Studio Lux Berlin. Designer interiors which incorporate the focal point of the hotel's life, the Greatroom lobby, where guests can meet and relax day and night, particularly over a local dish at the Westhub Bar & Lounge. The hotel's other restaurants feature Italian dishes at Assoluto Ristorante & Vineria and Assoluto Caffe, while VIP guests have 24/7 access to an exclusive lounge at 7.e On the first floor is the M Club, with a terrace when the weather is fine.
