This extension offers Swiss passengers travelling to or from Lausanne, Fribourg or Bern stations the choice of connecting via Zurich airport or via Geneva airport.
Until now, only Geneva Central Station has been linked to the Air Rail network via Zurich. The integration of Geneva airport as an air/rail transfer station is immediate and can be booked on the Swiss website.

The medium-term objective is to achieve greater transparency on passenger embarkation and disembarkation points.. The aim is to provide precise information on alternative travel options, for example in the event of malfunctions.
The Swiss Air Rail offer covers the two airport stations of Geneva and Zurich as well as 11 destinations.. Geneva-Cornavin, Fribourg, Bern, Interlaken, Lausanne, Lucerne, Lugano, Bellinzona and Basel in Switzerland, as well as Munich in Germany and Bregenz in Austria.
