Nice and Asia on Etihad's programme for summer 2024

The partnership between Air France and Etihad is taking shape with the launch of a flight between Nice and Abu Dhabi. The Gulf carrier is also announcing more frequencies to Asia.

Etihad Airways' 2024 summer programme includes a number of new features for the U.A.E. national carrier network, the big news for the French market rest on the launch of a non-stop service between Nice and Abu Dhabi. From 15 June 2024, the Côte d'Azur capital will benefit from two weekly flights to the UAE capital. This link has certainly benefited from theStrengthened cooperation agreement between Air France and Etihad.

In Europe, the company is also transforming its seasonal flight on Copenhagen into a permanent line from the end of March 2024.

At the same time, the airline further strengthens its flight schedule to Asia. On 15 January, it increases the number of weekly flights on the Abu Dhabi-Colombo route from 7 to 10 before going up to 14 flights/week on 1 May.

From 22 February, Etihad will also be adding three extra weekly flights to Bangkok.or 17 frequencies per week.

In both cases, the airline is adjusting its schedules for even better connectivity with European destinations. The schedules and frequencies give customers even greater flexibility to enjoy Abu Dhabi's boutique hotels and tourist attractions right up to the time of their departure, responding to the demand for even greater flexibility. Also in Asia, the airline confirms the launch of flights to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram on the Indian sub-continent. Etihad will offer a daily flight to these two cities from 1 January. Finally, on theAfrica, Etihad will offer a daily flight to Nairobi in Kenya. Once again, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier will be offering a daily frequency from 1 May.
