After announcing its establishment in the temple of rugby, Twickenham stadium, Radisson RED should also be in time for the big event of the year concerning the round ball: Euro 2024 in Germany. Between now and the end of spring, the Radisson Group brand will be setting up in a city that matches its lifestyle spirit Berlin, just a stone's throw from the Kurfürstendamm, the famous thoroughfare in the west of the German capital.
For this opening, the Radisson group is relying on its partnership with the PPHE property group and its subsidiary Arena Hospitality to renovate and transform a hotel that was already in its fold, the Park Plaza Berlin Kudamm. Closed since mid-November, the establishment will be converted to Radisson RED's own sense of design, with sophisticated aesthetics and arty interiors. Technology will also be present, with check-in kiosks and an application that serves as both a room key and a remote control for its equipment.
Offering 133 rooms, including 14 studios, the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm will also have a restaurant and, for business travellers, a co-working space and flexible event spaces. There's also a summer terrace in the courtyard for relaxing after a day's work.
