
This summer, ITA Airways will be making its debut in a new destination with the launch of the Rome-Dakar. The new route, which was made official on Tuesday, is due to start on 3 July next week. Four flights are scheduled each week between Fiumicino and Blaise Diagneevery Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They will be provided in Airbus A321neo new-generation aircraft. It will be configured in three travel classes: Business Class (12 seats), Premium Economy (12 seats) and Economy (141 seats, including 12 dedicated to Comfort Economy).

"The opening of the new flight Rome - Dakar represents a major product for the airline and the second new flight to the African continent to take off in the summer of 2024."says the company's management. "It will enable ITA Airways not only to gain a strategic entry point for point-to-point traffic, but also to reach other destinations in both countries, combining leisure and business travel"it says.
