
The entry into force of the new summer timetable on 31 March 2024 will mark the reinforcement ofeasyJet in Berlin with 200,000 additional seats and the launch of 5 new destinations. The announcement was made during the Berlin Tourism Fair by Stephan Erler, Director for Germany and Switzerland.
For Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of the Berlin airport company (Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH), this announcement " confirms easyJet as a strong partner in Berlin. By offering 200,000 additional seats this summer, the airline is underlining its ambitions for the capital's airport. With more than 50 destinations from BER in its summer timetableeasyJet is increasing its services to Europe's major cities and cultural centres." .
EasyJet is now one of the leading airlines present at the airport with the launch of several new destinations. In particular towards Toulouse-Blagnac, Bordeaux, Salerno, Izmir and Antalya.
Among the destinations that will benefit from increased frequencies or new routes in France are launch of lines from Bordeaux and Toulouse to Berlin. From 31 March, easyjet will be offering on this route two weekly flights. More flights will also be offered this summer to Basel-Mulhouse (2 to 3 daily flights), Bordeaux (4 flights/week), Geneva (1 to 2 daily flights), Nice (9 flights/week) and Paris CDG and Orly (4 to 5 daily flights)..
