
Set on the edge of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, dominated by the famous silhouette of Table Mountain, the Cape Grace has rapidly established itself as one of Africa's finest hotels since its inauguration in 1996. Bought in 2022 by Kasadathe investment platform dedicated to the African hotel industry close to Accor, then announced as a future Fairmont in 2023, Cape Town's flagship establishment has just reopened its doors after a nine-month closure for works.
New interiors inspired by South Africa's heritage, celebrating its landscapes and its many cultures; works by local artists scattered throughout the hotel: the architecture and interior design firm 1508 London wanted to highlight the hotel's new décor. the evolution of the South African metropolisThe city has grown from a bustling port to a major international destination.


From the French windows or balconies of the 112 rooms and suitesThe view of the marina and Table Mountain is, of course, unchanged. But they have been given a new elegance with warm colours inspired by the colours of Africa. There is also a new signature Cape Grace suite, the jewel of the hotel, with its two bedrooms and terrace, as well as a lounge and dining room with private bar and pantry.
In addition to a new spa, the hotel's restaurant offer has been redesigned with the collaboration of a recognised local chefGregory Czarnecki for the Heirloom restaurant, serving South African-inspired cuisine. As for relaxation, the Bascule Bar & Lounge offers a wide collection of wines and whiskies in a renovated setting, while guests can also relax by the outdoor swimming pool with a drink in the Pool Bar. A hotel focused on leisure, since it has no meeting rooms, but which will offer business travellers a prestigious setting for business stays in one of the key metropolises of the African continent.
