
Finnair has completed the transformation of its product both on the ground and in the air. The airline has completed the installation of its new travel classes on the entire fleet of long-haul aircraft. Since 2022, the €200 million investment has been used to equip its aircraft with a new Business Class seat, a new Premium Economy cabin and to modernise the Economy Class.
The Finnish carrier is continuing to improve the customer experience with the opening of its Schengen lounge on 9 July. For Ole Orvér, Commercial Director of Finnair, " The opening of our new Schengen lounge offers even more space and comfort before your departure. In response to suggestions from Finnair Plus, the lounge also includes an exclusive area Finnair Platinum, reserved for members Finnair Plus Platinum and Platinum Lumo.
Passengers in Business Classic and Flex classes, as well as Gold members Finnair Plus, will have exclusive access to the new Business Lounge at Finnair. This access can also be reserved as an option when you book your ticket, via Manage booking or the application Finnair.
The new show Finnair can accommodate up to 440 passengers, i.e. around 150 more than the current system. The different areas are specifically designed to meet different needs, such as eating out, working, relaxing and catching up with fellow passengers.
The design of the living room, by Studio Joanna Laajisto, perfectly embodies the essence of the Nordic countries, with its woody textures, its soothing design and warm tones reflect the tranquillity of the Finnish landscape. The space offers spectacular views of the airport runway and boarding area.
