It's not quite a combo, but it's close. Two new hotels, developed by the Borealis group, have just opened next door to each other, around ten minutes from Brussels airport and close to NATO headquarters and the offices of a number of companies, including Honeywell, 3M and EY. Both positioned in the same budget segment, one, the Holiday Inn Express, is focused on the classic hotel sector, while the other, an Adagio Access, focuses on the residential sector.
Offering 208 rooms, more spacious according to the latest model from the IHG Group brand, Holiday Inn Express Brussels Airport also has a 12-person meeting room and a large breakfast room that can accommodate 180 guests at a time. A practical address for business travellers looking for affordable accommodation, with an Express Café, outdoor terrace and electric vehicle charging points.
For its part, theAdagio Access Brussels Airport is aimed at travellers coming to the Belgian capital for a longer period, with 160 studios equipped with fully-equipped kitchens. The urban residence also features the Le Cercle lobby concept deployed by Accor's long-stay brand. Common areas where residents can work and relax, notably around a shared kitchen.
Further ahead - in 2026 - another budget airport hotel will be on the radar of business travellers, this time in the UK, at Manchester. Premier Inn, the sector leader in the UKis preparing a 276-room hotel just a few hundred metres from terminals 1 and 2. As the brand's future largest hotel in the north of England, it is part of the development of a campus dedicated to innovation at the gateway to the British city's airport, MIX Manchester.
