Volotea inaugurated the 7 November: two new flights from Brest Bretagne Airportto two business destinations: London and Strasbourg. The British capital will now be linked to Brest twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday. The schedule will change in April, with flights operated on Mondays and Thursdays. The Brest-Strasbourg route will also be limited to two weekly frequencies, on Thursdays and Sundays. And to add a little sunshine to its Brest catalogue, Volotea is also launching new flights to Tenerife and Lanzarote. Operations start on 9 November, with one flight per week.

" In the West, the sky is getting wider!"says an enthusiastic Claude Arphxad. The Director of Brest Bretagne airport continues: "We are delighted to welcome these four new destinations, which will considerably improve our region's connections. As a result, the distances separating the city of Brest from the rest of the world are shrinking. Many thanks to Volotea for this increase in activity, which meets the needs of the people of Brittany. ".

A fill rate of 94 %

Launched last April, Volotea's Brest base has clearly found its audience. The low-cost carrier boasts a load factor of 94 % on its flights since the start of the year. The carrier is forecasting a total of almost 350,000 seats available in 2024, a figure that has risen by 181 % in one year!
For Gilles Gosselin, Volotea's Head of France, who made the trip for the occasion, "These new destinations mark another step forward in our commitment to offering Bretons varied, accessible and quality destinations. For more than ten years, Volotea has been supporting the region's connectivity, and today we are proud to consolidate our offer in Finistère even further. Our teams and Brest Bretagne Airport have worked hand in hand to meet our passengers' expectations, and these new routes illustrate our desire to establish a lasting presence in Finistère. We look forward to continuing this wonderful adventure with the people of Brittany, offering them even more exciting destinations to suit their tastes.".
