With 1.23 million passengers last year, Strasbourg airport saw an increase in traffic of 21%, " one of the strongest among French airports" said concession director Renaud Paubelle on ICI (formerly Radio Bleue). In particular, he thanked Volotea, the airport's leading airline partner, whose traffic grew by 25% between 2023 and 2024.

Air France's Lyon-Strasbourg service soon to be replaced
For the 2025 summer timetable, Volotea has already announced two new routes -Heraklion and Lyon. For the latter city, Air France's total withdrawal from Strasbourg-Lyon is an opportunity. Volotea will offer two weekly flights.
At the same time, Twin Jet to begin operations on 31 March four daily flights in a 19-seat Beechcraft 1900D. The flights are particularly well suited to business travellers. The schedules have been planned to allow optimum connections with the flights still operated by Air France at Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport. Twin Jet has already been connecting Strasbourg to Marseille since September 2024.
As for easyJetSince 2024, it has been present again at the airport with four routes to Barcelona, London-Gatwick, Naples and Nice. For the summer season, it will be opening a flight to Palma de Mallorca with two weekly frequencies.
