The national carrier Vietnam Airlines strengthens connectivity with China. The company has just announced the launch on 30 March of five weekly frequencies between Ho Chi Minh City and the latest airport to serve BeijingDaxing International Airport (code PKX).
The company will operate a Airbus A321 two-class every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
At the same time, Vietnam Airlines ad increase its frequencies on the Hanoi-Beijing Capital routefrom five to seven weekly flights.
From March, Vietnam Airlines will operate six routes to China. In addition to routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing, the airline operates services from the two Vietnamese cities to Guangzhou and Shanghai-Pudong. A total of 40 flights a week.
The carrier has also just switched to daily frequency (instead of three flights a week) between Hanoi and Taipei. And will resume its daily flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong on 30 March. The airline had suspended this route since 2020. Both routes are also served by Airbus A321s.
French passengers choosing to travel to China via Vietnam have the option of taking an excursion around Hanoi or Saigon during their stopover.
