Founded in 2004, Afrijet is a Gabonese airline which has established itself as one of the most efficient and reliable in Central Africa. Its reliability and quality of service make it the partner of choice forAir France in the region.
Since 2016, it has been operating scheduled flights on domestic routes within Gabon as well as regional routes. Afrijet connects 12 cities from Libreville. These include Brazzaville, Cotonou, Douala, Kinshasa, Malabo, Pointe Noire or Yaoundé. At 2025the company plans to extend its network to 17 destinations.
Hence Air France's idea to strengthen its partnership with Afrijet. Port Harcourt will be served via Libreville in connection with the Air France flight. The two carriers will offer one flight a week until 29 March 2025. The route will change to two flights a week from 30 March 2025.
On the same date, Bangui to be served via Libreville in connection with the Air France flight twice a week. This travel option is complementary to the weekly Air France flight Paris CDG - Bangui - Yaoundé - Paris CDG. Afrijet will operate its routes in 70-seat ATR72-600s.
A tailor-made product
The addition of these two destinations will enable us to offer customers an exclusive 'seamless' product. The advantage is a Air France/Afrijet journey on a single ticket with end-to-end check-in for passengers and their baggage. In transit at Libreville, the two airlines will provide immediate connections. And in the event of delays, on-site accommodation is guaranteed.
Tickets are marketed worldwide by Air France.
