You have to work hard - and with your wallet - to get a place at Heathrow airport. And even British Airways is no exception to the rule. The British airline has had to buy six slots from British Midland International (BMI), according to a press release published by IAG on Friday. These new opportunities should enable British Airways to expand its schedule from the end of October, as the airline wishes to develop both its long-haul and short-haul network on the hub.
