A long lob between Paris and Dubai, between the Roland Garros stadium and the Pullman Dubai Downtown: while the tennis tournament is livening up the area around Porte d'Auteuil, the Accor Group's Dubai hotel is celebrating the yellow ball in its own way with a Roland Garros Official Suite. Unveiled on 27 May, business travellers will be able to take advantage of this offer not just until the final on 8 June, but for an entire year.
As part of the official partnership between the Paris tournament and the ALL Accor loyalty programme, the hotel has transformed one of its signature suites, measuring 93 m², to offer a immersive experience combining sport and lifestyle. Textured walls reminiscent of clay courts, ochre carpet replicating the courts, stamped towels and bathrobes, photographs inspired by champions, works of art and collectors' items: tennis, and through it its glamorous French atmosphere, is in the spotlight.
This winning service for tennis fans and families is not the only Accor Group initiative on the theme of sport. The ALL programme in the spotlight another key partnership, that between Novotel and Paris Saint-Germain, symbolised by the launch at the start of the season of a Novotel suite in the Parc des Princes stands. Is this a foretaste of a season that will go down in history for the capital's football club? In any case, even before PSG was awarded its first star following its Champions League victory, several Novotel hotels around the world began offering Legendary Rooms, celebrating the players who have marked the club's history.
The initiative began last March with a room at the Novotel Jakarta Cikini in tribute to Javier Pastore, chosen not only for his elegance on the pitch, but also and above all for his pivotal role in the club's transformation as the first marquee recruit of the Qatari era. With a bedroom wall honouring the club and the player, souvenirs, photos and flocked bathrobes, the Legendary rooms offer a connection with each of the legends admitted to this hotel version of the hall of fame. To further personalise the experience, a QR code on the customer's key card unlocks a web page with exclusive interviews with the legends, including details of their travel habits, among other original content created in collaboration with the club.
" Our new experiential room concept, devised in conjunction with Paris Saint-Germain, will enable visitors to experience fans from all over the world unique and unforgettable experiences celebrating their favourite playersaid Jean-Yves Minet, International Brand Director for Novotel at Accor. More than a holiday, it's an immersion in the club's finest moments. " " By celebrating our Legends in such an innovative and powerful way, we are paying tribute to their careers, while forging strong links with our supporters." added Nicola Ibbetson, Director of Global Partnerships at Paris Saint-Germain.

Shortly after Javier Pastore in Jakarta, a Nicolas Anelka room was unveiled at the Novotel Shanghai Hongqiao, the player having briefly played for Shanghai Shenhua. It was then the turn of Ivorian football legend Bonaventure Kalou to be honoured with a room. honoured at the Novotel Abidjan Marcory, Alain Roche at Valencia, Pedro Miguel Pauleta at the Novotel Riyadh Sahafa, Claude Makélélé at the Novotel London Bridge and Blaise Matuidi at the Novotel Miami Brickell. And finally, Brazilian star Rai at the Novotel Sao Paulo Morumbi. When will we have a Désiré Doué or Ousmane Dembélé room at the Novotel Rennes Centre Gare, for example, in the city where they were both trained?
