At the height of the summer heat, the low-cost airline easyJet has just announced its new winter schedules from France and the UK.
From France, the company is strengthening its position, particularly in Paris CDG and Strasbourg as well as several routes around the Christmas period in Bordeaux and Grenoble.
More flights between France and the UK
In the UK, easyJet's new routes will certainly strengthen the network at London's various airports. However, the carrier will be offering the largest number of new routes departing from Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Manchester.
The airline will be inaugurating 22 new routes, including 5 with France. Paris CDG will thus be linked to Aberdeen to the north of Scotland. EasyJet will be offering two flights a week (Mondays and Fridays) from 27 October. Toulouse will see the addition of a new route to London Gatwick. Here too, there will be two frequencies per week every Monday and Friday from 27 October.
From 28 November, easyJet will also be launching two flights weekly from Strasbourg in Manchester. The flights are aimed more at leisure customers, with frequencies on Fridays and Sundays. They will operate during the festive period.
Grenoble back on easyJet's schedule with the opening of the ski season. Every Saturday, the capital of the Dauphiné region will have a flight to Birmingham and every Sunday a flight to London-Southend. Kick-off is scheduled for 14 December for London and 20 December for Birmingham.
Strasbourg particularly spoiled
Among the other permanent routes from France, easyJet is boosting its offer to Strasbourg. The airline, which currently offers flights to Barcelona, London Gatwick, Nice and Palma, plans to launch four weekly flights to Italy at the end of November. EasyJet to operate twice-weekly services to Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino. Both routes will operate flights every Monday and Friday.
A CDGin addition to the link to Aberdeen, easyJet to serve Belgrade every Monday and Friday from 27 October. Finally, during the festive period, easyJet will also be connecting Bordeaux to Vienna. This exclusive service will operate every Thursday and Sunday from 27 November.
In a completely different development, easyJet is also inaugurating four weekly flights between Nice and Düsseldorf on 24 June. in Germany. The company operates flights every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
