All Nippon Airways is in turn heralding the advent of free in-flight connectivity. On Tuesday, the Japanese airline announced the roll-out of free high-speed Internet access for all passengers on its international flights. ANA will be relying on a partnership with Viasatthe world leader in in-flight connectivity.
The timetable unveiled by All Nippon Airways calls for the installation on three B767-300ER aircraft to be completed by the end of 2025. By fiscal year 2026, the airline plans to extend high-speed Wi-Fi access to all six of its B767-300ER aircraft. ANA will also integrate the Viasat system into new international aircraft after fiscal year 2026, gradually extending the free service to all classes of its fleet.
