
The Park Hyatt brand is taking a more elevated position in the world of luxury hotels by passing the 50-hotel mark worldwide. It's a move that's as much numerical as physical, since its latest hotel, which opened at the beginning of August, dominates the market. all of Kuala LumpurIt is housed in the tallest skyscraper in the Asia-Pacific region, the Merdeka 118 tower. Overlooking its almost-neighbours, the famous Petronas Towers, by more than 200 m, it reaches a height of 678.9 m and its top floors are home to the 75e to 114e, a house in the sky with 252 rooms and suites with decor inspired by the traditional architecture of Malay villages, enhanced by batik or Peranakan motifs, natural wood and works by local artists.
Glazed from floor to ceiling, the 252 rooms - including 27 suites - at the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur all offer a high level of comfort. unique views over the whole city as well as the Merdeka stadium below, where the country's independence was declared in 1957. Transformed, the hotel now offers 795 rooms and suites in a contemporary decor that pays tribute to the liveliness of the district. These include a themed room inspired by the musical Mamma Mia! as well as one of the largest fitness centres in Manhattan hotels and a lively lounge where you can enjoy craft cocktails and dishes to share.
In addition to this opening, there is another first with the Hyatt group's beginnings in the Baltic StatesEstonia, where the contemporary Hyatt Place brand opened in Tallinn at the beginning of August. Located in the heart of the harbour district, just a stone's throw from the UNESCO-listed medieval city centre and the ferry terminal for Helsinki and Stockholm, Hyatt Place Tallinn also takes advantage of its proximity to business hubs and key locations in the creative industries to offer travellers a contemporary base with 169 rooms. With a Scandinavian-inspired design and functional décor, lively social areas and an international cuisine restaurant that also showcases local culinary traditions and, by the end of the year, a cocktail bar.
