Delta Airlines will be expanding its European network next year. On Wednesday, the American airline announced a number of new transatlantic services departing from Boston Logan. Nice airport will benefit from this European offensive. From 17 May 2026, Delta Airlines will be inaugurating a new direct route Nice-Boston. The two airports will be linked three times a weekevery Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
In the wake of this announcement, the Chairman of the Board of Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur welcomed this new option for business and leisure travellers: " The opening of this new direct route between Nice and Boston by Delta is part of a long-standing partnership between our airport and this airline. " Delta has always played a pioneering and key role in connecting the Côte d'Azur with the United States, and this new destination will strengthen not only the 6 existing direct routes to the United States, but also the economic, tourism and cultural links that unite us. ".
Nice is not the only European airport to benefit from this transatlantic offensive from Boston: Delta is also preparing to launch a new flight to Madridfrom 16 May. By adding non-stop flights to Madrid and Nice, we are strengthening our European network and continuing our commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience from start to finish. ".
In addition, Barcelona and Milan will see Delta intensify its schedule from Boston. The airline plans to introduce daily flights to Barcelona starting on 7 May, and to offer four flights a week between Boston and Milan on 16 May.
