Air France is pursuing its development in China with the launch of a new scheduled service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Wuhan Tianhe international airport, officially announced on 5 November in China. The French carrier thus becomes the first to offer direct flights between Europe and Wuhan, with three flights a week. Services will be operated by Boeing 777-200ERs with 309 seats: 35 in the Business cabin, 24 in Premium Voyageur and 250 in Voyageur/Economy. The flight (AF132) will leave Paris-Charles de Gaulle on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, reaching Wuhan the following day. On the return journey, flight AF139 will take off from Wuhan International Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and land at Paris-Charles de Gaulle on the same day.
