Graz and Rabat on the British Airways winter schedule

British Airways is expanding its 2025 winter schedule with the addition of two new destinations from London-Gatwick: Graz in Austria and Rabat in Morocco.

British Airways expands its Europe and North Africa network departing from Gatwick airport with the winter season. Its subsidiary BA Euroflyer will be inaugurating regular services to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and the Austrian city of Graz popular for its culture, congresses and economic dynamism.

Graz

With Graz, the British airline increases its services to Austria to fouralongside Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck. The line will be operated three times a week throughout the year. It will take off 21 November.

For Graz airport, the arrival of British Airways represents a major step forward. " London was by far our biggest market without a direct flight. This new connection to Gatwick is crucial for our region's economy, industry and tourism. "underlines Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of the airport.

In fact, we often forget that Graz, in the south-east of Austria, is the country's second largest city. It is a major university and research centre with a population of over 300,000.

The British Airways flight will facilitate connections within the oneworld network, complementing existing connections via Star Alliance hubs (Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Zurich). Oneworld will replace connections with Skyteam following the end of the Amsterdam-Graz line in 2024.

Rabat

In Morocco, Rabat will become British Airways' third destination after Marrakech and Agadir. From 5 November 2025, the Gatwick-Rabat route will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundaysby Airbus A320. The Moroccan capital, renowned for its architectural heritage and its balance between tradition and modernity, will thus be boosting its international profile.

The two new flights will offer the Club Europe cabin (business class). The product includes access to the recently refurbished British Airways lounge at Gatwick. The lounge features a new cocktail bar and redesigned areas.

At the same time, the subsidiary BA Cityflyerdeparting from London City Airportwill be inaugurated on 1 December 2025 daily flights to Madrid.
