Economy class passengers can now connect their personal headphones to their individual screens, without the hassle of a cable. Practicality aside, TAP Air Portugal highlights the environmental impact of this development. The wireless functionality enables the company to reduce the use of plastic and disposable electronic materials.
TAP Air Portugal has already equipped 19 Airbus A330neo and 13 Airbus A321neoLR of the latest generation with Bluetooth. However, the functionality is not available on the three Airbus A330ceo of the previous generation.
