The end of 2025 is shaping up to be as busy as ever for the Hilton Group. Among the major openings is the recent opening of the Conrad Hamburg, part of the historic Levantehaus building dating from 1910. This 283-room hotel is located on one of the German city's main commercial thoroughfares and, in addition to the largest presidential suite and the longest indoor swimming pool of any hotel in Hamburg, boasts nine meeting and conference rooms.

In October, Northern Europe will see the opening of another new luxury hotel for the group, the Waldorf Astoria Helsinki, the result of the conversion of the former Hotel Maria. Also housed in a historic building dating back to 1885, the establishment in the Kruununhaka district will offer 116 rooms and suites, with a restaurant and signature bar, three rooms for meetings and events, and a wellness area with, naturally, a sauna.

Almost simultaneously, the brand will be adding a second address in Shanghai, the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan, located in the new New Bund business district. And this at a time when, still in the Chinese metropolis, the American group has recently introduced its lifestyle brand Canopy by Hilton, with a hotel that is more leisure than business, located within the LEGOLAND Shanghai resort.

Luxury and lifestyle in Asia-Pacific

The American group currently has 160 luxury or lifestyle hotels in the Asia-Pacific region, and its offering is set to grow by at least 50% over the coming years. In this context, Hilton has just added a top-of-the-range address in the Thai capital, the KROMO Bangkok. This new member of the Curio Collection, located in the lively Sukhumvit district, offers more than 300 rooms and suites and an original meeting space for around twenty people, the Vilah Creative Social Space, a sort of private flat for executive committees and intimate events. But as well as a rooftop infinity pool, the hotel also has another asset to tempt business travellers in search of French flavours: its Colette bar-bistro.

Combining business with pleasure: in India, in November, the American group will be offering its business customers a resort close to Hyderabad's high-tech Genome Valley zone, designed for the relaxation of business travellers and, even more, for MICE. In addition to 96 rooms, 6 suites and 13 villas with private pools, the Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa will be a vast events venue with lawns for banquets and receptions for up to 3,000 people, with a total of 14 meeting rooms, including two ballrooms.

MICE in North America

The Signia by Hilton brand, which focuses on MICE, will soon be arriving in Texas, not far from San Antonio, in the form of the newly renovated La Cantera Resort & Spa. Featuring 496 rooms and 34 villas, the resort combines superlatives to appeal to both business and leisure travellers, with nine dining options, a spa and five swimming pools, a golf course, and almost 10,000 m² of meeting space divided into 40 meeting rooms, including two ballrooms, and a new event venue, La Calera, capable of hosting receptions for up to 400 people.

Also in the United States, where Hilton is continuing to roll out its new long-stay brand LivSmart Studios by Hilton with a second property in Kokomo, the coming weeks will also see the appearance of new hotels. In New York, for example, The George at Columbia Harlem, a member of the Tapestry Collection located, as its name suggests, in the Harlem district close to Columbia University. In Jacksonville, Florida, Hilton will soon be opening a hotel linked to the renowned Mayo Clinic hospital, with 250 rooms for short or long stays, as well as a meeting place for healthcare professionals with almost 2,000 m² and five meeting rooms, including a ballroom for 1,600 people.

At the end of the year, the American group will also be strengthening its presence in Los Angeles with a new luxury hotel, the Cameo Beverly Hills, part of its LXR Hotels & Resorts banner, as well as another business hotel, the Hilton Arcadia Los Angeles. With 173 rooms, this establishment with a view of the San Gabriel Mountains from its rooftop bar is designed for corporate or private events, with a MICE space of almost 1,700 m², comprising 10 meeting rooms including a ballroom that can accommodate just under 500 people.

Among the group's other developments in North America, the Hilton group will shortly be installing its new Spark premium economy brand in the immediate vicinity of Toronto Pearson airport, and also close to the Canadian city's convention centre, in addition to a new Hilton Garden Inn in Mexico City, in the Polanco district.

New and historic developments in Europe

However, the Hilton Group's expansion has not avoided Europe or France, where it has recently launched its Spark brand in Lyon. But the growth of its portfolio on the continent is also heading in the direction of Turkey, with a Canopy by Hilton expected in Istanbul near Taksim Square, and, even more so, Italy in the coming weeks. The Tapestry Collection by Hilton will open a property in the heart of Perugia, the Rosetta Hotel Perugia, based in part on structures dating back to the 15th century.e century. At the same time, the Curio Collection will be welcoming a historic hotel in Genoa, the Grand Hotel Savoia Genova, to its ranks in December. Marking the group's arrival in the Ligurian city, this Belle Epoque-style hotel, opened in 1897 for the transatlantic gotha of the time, offers business travellers both an ideal location, just a stone's throw from Piazza Principe station, and six meeting rooms.

Expected in December, this development foreshadows others for the collection of top-of-the-range hotels with, among its future members, the Majestic Palace Sorrento in 2027 and the Cadorna Hotel in Milan in early 2028. Recently, the Curio Collection also welcomed to Spain, in Caceres, an establishment with a historic cachet, housed in the former palace of the conquistador Francisco de Godoy, recently transformed into a 73-room hotel with a rooftop bar and intimate meeting rooms.

While a number of new hotels will be opening in the last few months of the year, Hilton has also announced a number of new projects, including the DoubleTree by Hilton Madrid Principe de Vergara in Madrid's Salamanca district at the end of 2026, a 155-room hotel with 14 meeting rooms designed for business travellers. The group will also be adding new establishments in the United Kingdom with the opening early next year of Europe's largest Hampton Inn in Manchester, next to Deansgate-Castlefield underground station. Housed in a 22-storey tower, this budget hotel will offer 358 rooms and a meeting area. Also in Manchester, the lifestyle brand Motto by Hilton will make its debut the following year with a 154-room hotel located close to the city's main railway station, Manchester Piccadilly.
