The Best Western network has added nine new establishments in France since the start of 2025, while a number of new openings are on the agenda for the second half of the year, with three new hotels due to open in the coming weeks. This expansion covers the whole of France, from Brittany to the Côte d'Azur, via the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, and takes advantage of the diversity of the portfolio of brands offered by Best Western. The Sure Hotel budget brand and its 'light' counterpart, the Sure Hotel Collection, account for more than half of these new developments, including the Sure Hotel by Best Western Guérande in Brittany, a three-star, 70-room hotel committed to sustainable development.
Other new openings include a 30-room hotel near Saint-Quentin, at the junction of the A26/A29 motorways, and the completely modernised Sure Hotel Valence Nord, further south, near the A7 motorway, offering 40 rooms, electric recharging points and the assurance of responsible accommodation with the Clef Verte label. On the Côte d'Azur, just outside Cannes, the Sure Hotel by Best Western Mougins Belvédère, also renovated, has 55 rooms and combines relaxation with work, with an outdoor swimming pool and a functional coworking space. Finally, the collection version of the brand has welcomed the Crystal Dinard, a three-star seaside hotel with 22 rooms and flats that can accommodate up to 6 people.
The American group has also added new hotels to its French network for its fabion Best Western brand and its four-star Best Western Plus version. The Best Western brand has two new hotels, one in Finistère, in Plouescat, with a three-star 41-room hotel overlooking the Bay of Kernic, and the other in Normandy, at the entrance to Honfleur, the Best Western Eden Spa, with 56 rooms and a wellness area with swimming pool.
The superior Best Western Plus range has also added a new address near Toulon, in Sanary-sur-Mer, with a four-star hotel comprising 42 beautifully designed rooms and suites, as well as an outdoor swimming pool open all year round and, for meetings, three modular rooms that can accommodate up to 80 people in theatre configuration. Although the hotel does not have a permanent restaurant, it can offer a catering service for groups and seminars by prior arrangement.
Business travellers loyal to the group's establishments will also find another Best Western Plus tailored to business trips, the Hotel Saint-Roch in Orleans. Firstly because of its location, in the heart of the Orléans Sud CO'Met district, 10 minutes from the city centre, but above all 8 minutes on foot or one tram stop from the Palais des Congrès, the Exhibition Centre, the Arena and the Zénith. The hotel also has 53 rooms and suites, a coworking space and a seminar room for up to 60 people. Opened this year in a building that meets the latest environmental standards, the hotel also offers a rooftop bar and a bistronomic restaurant, whose menu has been created in collaboration with a Michelin-starred chef.
