The study published on Monday by Pegasus Solutions reports a significant increase in hotel bookings in the business travel sector in October (+4%) compared to the same period in 2010. Based on bookings made through GDS, Pegasus adds that rates are logically following the trend, with an average increase of 2.9%. Forecasts for the rest of 2011 remain optimistic: In particular, Pegasus is forecasting strong growth in December, before a slowdown in January and February, accompanied by an increase in fares.
